IALF Jakarta is the largest IELTS test centre in Indonesia. The test centre is centrally located in a state of the art, modern building in Jalan Rasuna Said and regular off-site tests are held in Kelapa Gading, Pluit and Kebon Jeruk. The IALF also has IELTS Test centres in Surabaya and Denpasar.

The instructors on IELTS Prep courses are native speaker teachers from Australia, the UK, New Zealand, Canada and the US.

The IALF has a large student resource centre with 18 computers for accessing digitized audio and video materials and 4 multi-media computers with English language learning software.

IELTS Preparation Pathway

IELTS Prep 1 - 50 hours

This course will introduce you to the IELTS test: it is the first course in the pathway program and is designed for those whose English is at Pre-Intermediate 1 or Pre-Intermediate 2 levels. The focus is on introducing key features of the IELTS test at a simplified level to build confidence for taking the IELTS test and to improve overall ability in using English

IELTS Prep 2 - 50 hours

This is a more advanced course with a minimum entry level of Pre-Intermediate 3 on the IALF Placement Test.

During the course you will:

  • Become familiar with the format of the IELTS test
  • Develop appropriate language and test-taking techniques of IELTS
  • Have access to a range of practice materials and English language learning resources
  • Participate in test simulations

IELTS Prep Plus - 25 hours

This course is designed to provide additional practice in Speaking and Writing skills for the IELTS test.

During the course you will:

  • Improve your speaking skills
  • Prepare for the IELTS Speaking test
  • Develop your writing skills
  • Improve your ability to write IELTS Task 1 and Task 2 responses.
  • Participate in test simulations.
