Singapore is made up of a multiethnic population. Our Singapore Map comprises of 76.4 percent Chinese, 14.9 percent Malay, 6.4 percent Indian, 2.3 percent others. English dominates this country even though there are four official languages; Malay, English, Chinese, and Tamil. Our education system is inspired after the British with six-year primary and four year secondary schools and two year junior colleges for quarter of student population preparing for higher education. There are 4 main university; National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Institute of Management and Singapore Management University. There are also many Distance Learning Schools and Special Education Programs here in Singapore.
