The University of Guam (UOG) was originally set up in 1952 as a teacher training school that offered two year programs and was known as the Territorial College of Guam. In 1960, it was relocated to the present campus in Mangilao. It was accredited as a four-year, degree granting institution in 1965.UOG offers bachelor's degrees in thirty-five different areas and master's degrees in twelve different areas.
