Acne Treatment
Acne can be an embarrassing and awkward time in life as many endure its effects during some point in life, either minor or severe. The distinct cause for acne is virtually unknown and we cannot begin to say which treatment is most effective overall. Each person is different with different skin. There are a number of treatments available to help diminish the lingering effects of acne, which may be light blemishes to deep scarring. One effective and safe option is blue light acne treatment.

The cause for acne is the bacteria resulting in inflammation. When the molecules called porphyrins are located and exposed to certain wavelengths of light(blue), free radicals are produced, killing the bacteria that causes the inflammatory acne. Results of blue light acne treatment have been very successful, as 85% of patients have seen direct improvement juts after a few weeks. Results generally will be seen within a few weeks of consistent treatment. Visible acne will drastically reduce by at least 60% after 4 weeks, and after 12 weeks, most will see 76% reduction.

The best part of the treatment is that it can be administered in your own home, using a proper fixture and light set up in a safe place. Wash your face or the affected area and allow it to dry. Sit at a comfortable distance from the bulb, around 2-3 feet. Do not sit any closer than 2 feet to the bulb. The blue light treatment should be used for 15 minutes daily. Your skin should being to feel like it is healing and rejuvenating, benefiting from the effects of the light helping diminish the effects of acne. Be sure to allow for even distribution of light on the areas that you feel need the most attention. Wear protective gear for your eyes during the treatment. When you have achieved the desired results, decrease the amount of blue light treatment accordingly. Some patients will choose to do it every other day after seeing improvement. You will be able to best decide the amount of sessions needed to effectively decrease the acne blemishes on your skin.

Do not use the light therapy if you are taking any medication that causes photosensitivity. There is no UV in the blue light bulbs, as there is no risk of sunburn or skin cancer.

There are no treatments that are 100% effective in treating acne, and the best result is improvement, not perfection. There are several recommendations given to prevent acne from ever surfacing, but without an accurate cause for why the condition even appears, an exact diagnosis is difficult. Consult with a local skin care physician to decide if blue light acne treatment is right for you. It is a very safe and effective method, and although there are few side effects, you should be careful when approaching any type of medication. Different skin tones attract different bacteria and conditions, all of which may require a specific type of treatment in order to best solve the problem. Blue light acne treatment could be the right choice for you if you suffer from any type of acne.
And Blue Light Acne
After all, you probably haven't seen your reflection for weeks, right. Anyway, this irritating reaction from others is one of the primary reasons we human beings hate acne in the first place. Not to mention that it kills our self respect. Fortunately professionals are coming out with new and better ways to deal with this common skin suffering. For example, have you ever heard of blue light acne therapy. This one is not so well known yet, but that doesn't mean that you don't want to check into it.

What do you know about new skin treatment processes such as blue light acne therapy. More and more as time moves forward, technology impresses the heck out of me. One day we have cable TV, and then the next day we can pause live TV. One day we have maps, and then the next we have GPS systems. I love all these improvements.

How can you possibly not. The same goes for acne remedies. For a long time it seemed like all there were topical creams. You had your Oxy10, Clearasil, and Noxzema pads. Not that these were completely terrible, but they can hardly vie with what is out there today. In more recent times we have developed such treatments as microderm abrasion, chemical peels, and blue light acne therapy. These are much more effective processes especially in the long run. You see, while a hat pore blocking dead skin in order to let the fresh epidermis shine through. Clear, clean pores equal a zit free complexion.

Are you interested in trying blue light acne therapy or microderm abrasion of your face. Hey, that sounds like a good plan. Just hop online and start sorting through available locations and standard costs. You will want to find a good dermatologist to complete your blue light acne therapy or other professional acne treatment. I am fairly certain you will be amazed with the results. It's time to banish those pimples for good.
