If you’re looking for a quick meal that requires little effort to put together, Celebrity Foods has just the answer you need. They have several foods that require just heating and serving. A ready to eat meal can be rounded out with any one of a variety of fresh soups and pre-prepared mashed potatoes.

For those who enjoy cooking their meals, Celebrity Foods offers a wide array of products that are ready to prepare out of the freezer. They offer every type of meat and poultry. Also, in order to make a well-rounded, nutritious meal they also offer an assortment of fresh grade-A vegetables that are picked at the peak of their freshness.

In order to give an example of how easy it is to cook with products from Celebrity Foods, listed below are several recipes that can be prepared using only the products from Celebrity Foods. All of these recipes can be made without leaving the comfort of your home.

Skillet Chicken and Rice

2 tsp. olive oil
6 pieces of chicken (any kind)
one half of a 28oz can - whole tomatoes
1 ½ c. water
¾ c. white rice
¼ tsp. salt
8 oz. green beans
1 tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. peppercorns

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
add chicken and cook until browned. Remove from skillet.

Add tomatoes, water, rice, garlic powder and peppercorns; bring to a boil.

Return chicken to skillet, meaty side down. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Turn chicken over and place beans over chicken. Cover. Simmer 20-30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pint in center, rice and green beans are tender and all liquid is absorbed.

Italian Shrimp Sauté

1 28oz can of whole tomatoes
½ tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 dashes Smokin’ Hot Habañero Sauce or more to taste
2 tbs. butter
1 ½ lbs. large peeled and deveined shrimp

In a large skillet combine tomatoes, garlic sugar, salt, Italian seasoning and hot sauce. Boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until most of the liquid has evaporated and sauce is thick- about 8-10 minutes.

In another large skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook, tossing until pink – about 3 minutes.

Transfer shrimp to a serving platter and cover with sauce.

Stovetop Barbecued Pork Chops

1 tbs. olive oil
4 boneless pork chops (5-6 oz each)
1 c. Smitty’s Spicy Barbecue Sauce

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Season pork chips with salt. Add pork to skillet and cook until browed (about 4 minutes a side)

Stir in barbecue and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Cook covered turning chops a few times to coat with sauce. Cook abut 12 minutes or until chops are no longer pink in the center.

Peppered Beef Tenderloin Roast

5 lb. beef tenderloin roast
2 ½ tsp. garlic powder
2 tbs. rosemary
1 tbs. black peppercorns
1 tsp. salt
2 tbs. olive oil

Preheat oven to 425º F. Combine all ingredients except oil and rub over roast. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours but no more than 48. Be sure to return to room temperature before cooking.
In a large skillet or roasting pan heat oil over medium-high heat. Add roast and brown on all sides (about 4 minutes a side). Place in oven and cook uncovered until the internal temperature reaches 155º F. Remove from oven and let rest about 10 minutes before carving.

Baked Lamb Chops

8 4 oz lamb chops
¼ c. olive oil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbs. dried rosemary
1 tsp. salt
Preheat a grill and oven to 400º F
Rub the chops with oil and spices. Cook on the grill for 4 minutes a side. Transfer to a baking sheet and cook an additional five minutes or until desired doneness.

Herbed Green Beans

1 lb. green beans
1 tsp. olive oil
2 tbs. dried basil

Cook green beans until slightly tender, do not over cook.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and then add basil.
Add beans. Cook until heated through. Serve immediately.
