Tips for Using Simmer Sauce

Using simmer sauces are a perfect way of adding Indian flavor to the food. An Indian simmer sauce can be of many varieties. Also known as curry sauce, there are mild to very hot Indian simmer sauce available in the market. However, it is quite easy to buy simmer sauces than to put them in to use. Here are a few tips for using simmer sauces:

1)Deciding upon a flavor of sauce
One should be very cautious while choosing an Indian simmer sauce. If the labels indicate that the sauce is hot then one should believe it to be very hot. Someone who is not accustomed to a very spicy and hot food should try out the milder simmer sauces. Then slowly one can go for the spicier forms of the sauce. However mild simmer sauces are preferred by most of the people. Almost all the brands are equally good and it is not necessary that if one flavor of sauce is not good then the whole product line of the brand is rubbish. Similarly given that all the brands are equally good, one should not get stuck on any specific brand. Another thing that one has to bear in mind while looking for simmer sauce is that sometime they are also called curry sauce and one should not confuse between simmer sauce and curry sauce.

2)Using the sauce
The most conventional use of the Simmer Sauces is to make stew comprising of vegetables, seafood or chicken and even the labels provide quite easy to make recipes. However, one should look forward to explore the taste of these amazing sauces. The simmer sauces are an excellent form of marinades. They also make excellent basting sauce. One can use these sauces for marinating lamb steaks or chicken thighs. The best flavors that can be used for marinating are the lemony and the tangy ones. This is not the end. A few tablespoons of these sauces can add Indian touch to almost every food. For instance a little bit of simmer sauces in the vegetable soup can give it a completely new flavor. Similarly if one substitutes butter with simmer sauce while making baked potato, it would become an exotic and delicious meal. There are many other ways in which one can use simmer sauces. A bit of love for different flavor of food can make one find out different ways of using simmer sauces in food.
