Our client, a reputable IT Company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel
Responsibilities:
- Be the lead counsel of one of the Legal Business Advisory Teams
- Manage a team of Counsels and be part of a dynamic legal department
- Provides corporate and business support to group companies in Asia-Pacific countries
- Manage legal and contractual aspects of a variety of complex Information Technology services and engineering contracts and projects from pre-sales to project conclusion
- Ensure project is compliance with the company's policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing and providing advice on complex Information Technology services and engineering contracts
- To provide frontline support for negotiations, respond to complex inquiries regarding existing contract obligations and revisions, identify risks and issues, and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution
- Provide advice and support to local and regional operations, advising management on corporate, business, and regulatory issues with legal implications
Requirements:
- Min 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with a good blend of private and in-house experience
- Qualified to practice law in at least 1 Asia-Pacific jurisdiction
- Good mix of corporate, commercial and litigation experience
- Candidates with exposure to the IT industry will have a distinct advantage
