About the restaurant:
The restaurant had a good variety of yummy food like the famous japanese paper steamboat (soup was fabulous!), very fresh sashimi, piping hot claypot noodles etc. They also have seasonal offers which is announced by the signature Kuishinbo jingle every half an hour offering a limited amount of goodies like mochi ice-cream and baby lobsters with melted cheese. Mad queueing but worth your time! Desserts included a small chocolate fountain, mochi ice-cream, little tarts and others. This place is not for couples who want a private dinner because the environment is noisy, plus the tables are positioned VERY close to each other. Price-wise, this place is mid-range. My bill for 2 people on a Saturday night came up to $100. Lunch buffets are cheaper. Call early to book an appointment because they are almost always fully booked. There are some special deals whereby you can pay a lower price for the buffet if you finish dining in one and a half hours. |

Ordered Food:
I tried almost everything they offered in their buffet. I paid an extra $8 to enjoy the free flow Tiger Beer buffet on top of the food buffet. I was pleasantly surprised that the beer came in individual bottles instead of draught. |
