About the restaurant:
Aptly named, this restaurant is hidden away from view, and is just a quaint little house nestled in a lush environment. You got to look carefully otherwise you might just walk past it. The ambience is cosy and romantic, quite a nice place to bring a partner to. A modern and simple concept, little candle lights line the tables. |

Ordered Food:
My partner had the oxtail stew, I had the cilantro chicken. Both were just average. For desserts, we had the Sin in Love, but we thought it was quite similar to their triple choc. It was my partner's birthday, and when I made a reservation over the phone, I requested if they could put a happy birthday tag on his dessert when it is served. Perhaps they forgot, but I wish they paid more attention to such requests because it was a special occasion. |
My verdict:
With a special request, I thought it was a good time for the restaurant to more than satisfy the request and take the opportunity to delight the guests. Unfortunately, they probably forgot. The food wasnt fantastic, but the ambience was really commendable. They have a private setting for events outside,which looked just as comfy as the inside. |

My verdict:
not worth the money. I have made special arrangement for celebration but never been recorded in their books. What a real surprise! |

About the restaurant:
the ambience of the resturant wasnt as nice compare to their website.spacing between tables are cramp, able to hear others' conversation (even thou they didnt speak loudly).NO secrets at all!!! |
Ordered Food:
2 of us ordered steak, medium well. the food served is nice, as medium well steak is very well prepared.we ordered 2 sides, the french fries is crispy at the outside soft in the inside.tumbs up. |
My verdict:
overall the food is up to the standard.each person cost abt 40 bucks (inclusive of main meal + one side + one drink).price is a little steep for the food.i would not choose this place because the SERVICE is not up to standard at all. u got to order the food at the counter and get the chilli/plain water at the counter too.even thou they dont charge service charge but their waiter is veri impatient to us (as we do not know wat is happening when we wan to order our meals). One example : i ask for chilli sauce as it cant be found at the main counter,i wave to the waiter for help. Waiter walk over and pointed the chilli sauce and walk away, when actually he can pass me the chilli sauce on his way to my table.i was shock by his "service" and the most important fact is that the restaurant is not crowded at all. the manager wasnt friendly to asian (when he is asian too), no smile at all. when 3 caucasian walks in, he welcome them with a wide smile n even introduce the menu to them. asians do not have such privileage.if you are gg there for nice food and willing to spend on,you can give it a try. but i seriously thinks that other places provides excellent food and SERVICE with the same price paid. in short this place serve nice food with fast food services. |
