About the restaurant:
It's a very nice place with husband and wife team, the food is pretty good for the price and the location. very good service, often can be full over Fridays and weekends. Very nice comfortable cosy place inside and a nice alfesco as an option. |

About the restaurant:
The food is good. however, the wine list is kinda disappointed and we will need to pay corkage... but i will still go back for the food!! |

Duckmeat, chicken liver,seafood soup, escargos, FRESH oysters.. etc |
My verdict:
I love the food!! and is a must to try everything in the menu. and on special occassions, Jonathan will come out with very creative menu!! |

About the restaurant:
The restaurant has quite a please ambience. Some care and thought has been invested in converting an old shophouse into a comfortable place to eat. |
Ordered Food:
Mushroom soup, bisque, burger, rack of lamb and duck breast. |
My verdict:
The mushroom soup had a good consistency and taste. The bisque had a slightly bitter but not unpleasant taste. You go to a restaurant such as this for something better than the ordinary. The burger was small and had an uninteresting taste. No effort was made to enliven the pattie with herbs or spices. Disappointing. We are cuisine classique people not nouvelle cuisine. Take a magnifying glass with you otherwise you might miss the rack of lamb on the plate. The duck was not much better. We strongly resent being given a bill for $150++ and then have to go to a coffeeshop to have a meal. We consider this place to be pathetic value and under no circumstances recommend it unless you just want to go to be seen. |

To any brave soul, considering this place if you haven't tried it.... I recommend anywhere else than this place. |
Ordered Food:
draught beer was undrinkable and foul smelling.
only one of the starters arrived, we ordered two.
three out of the four main courses were overcooked and tasteless.
all portions were non-generous.
bill was excessive.
wait staff were amateurish.

a restaurant with great potential. my kinda palette. would recommend to those who likes fusion food with great cosy dining experience. |
