There's this shop call Beauty Language that sells cheap toiletries but not all are really cheap... This place is good for Qi Ji the halal nasi lemak shop with different sets available... They also have mee rubus and mee siam, popiah is also quite popular with diners.
If you don't mind getting caught in the crowds and having to jostle around a bit, then this is a good place to check out, there are clothes accessories and food stores there, you might be able to come out with a few good items with bargain prices
Not kids friendly and is always crowded. But there are a lot of cheap clothings which looks really pretty and is really a good buy. But no bargaining is allowed. There are shops selling snacks, accessories, clothes, CDs and even fruits.
The place to go for trendy, fashionable clothes at low prices. Tee shirts go as low as $7 per piece. Shoes n bags of different shapes n designs up for grabs. Souvenirs sold here are truely singapore style.
If you are here, you get grab food from Lerk Thai, Long John Silver, Qi Ji etc... There's also a few shops like Swank that sells cheap and trendy shoes... One of my favourite spot when I go to Bugis...
