A Day in Pompeii is a snapshot of the daily life of the Roman towns around the end of 1st century (79 CE). Daily objects such as food vessels, frescoes with paintings that decorated many of the homes during that time, figurines used on shrine, sculptures and sports gear belonging to a gladiator, will give a glimpse of the day-to-day life of the people in an ancient Roman citadel. I wanna go!
The best day to visit the National Museum of Singapore is on National Day for you to feel better the celebration of the holiday. I must say that foreigners must take effort to visit this place for them to be able not only to enrich their knowledge about the history and culture of Singapore, but most importantly, to understand and embrace this country and its people. After all, we are all sharing the same sky and planet. =)
Titled "Presidential Presents", a collection of 50 selected official gifts received by the six Presidents of Singapore are on display now at the National Museum of Singapore. Exhibition last till January 9, 2011. These gifts are received from 1962 to 2009.
Been to the National Museum of Singapore quite sometime back and I see the huge naked David's body right in front of me at the reception area. It's claded in red floral prints... There was also a Mozart's history for kids at time point of time.
