There are so many variety of food here and a few stalls are even on the TV. You must try the Yau Dau Foo but be prepared to queue up. Personally, I like the fishball noodle and I am not sure the name of the stalls but sometimes there is a queue.
This is the place to go for authentic local food when you're at Chinatown. The food here is not too pricey and there are a number of popular stalls frequented by the locals and introduced over the TV and food gurus.

Sichuan Ming Xiao Shi serves very popular mala soya bean curd. Spicy mala sauce drizzled over silky smooth bean curd is delicious.
Yong Xiang Xin Dou Fu serves freshly made yong tau fu. Items are limited, but all freshly made at the stall right in front of you!
Yong Xian Xing Dou Fu (look for the bright yellow sign and a long queue) makes one of the most tastiest bestest yong tau fu EVER!
