Some sports can be lame, like golf, but others are mind bamboozling, like Underwater Hockey. The product of men with too much free time, a body of water and a small round object, Underwater Hockey can be played in Singapore at Queenstown Swimming Complex, where noobs and pros can chase after a small ball with tiny sticks while half-drowning. Free for beginners. Check out suhc.multiply.com for more info.
I would put this swimming complex as one of my favourite even though its far from my home. Even though its a old swimming complex, it is quite well maintain and it is rather peaceful too. If you are looking for a pool for leisure swim which is not crowded, this is the place to go.
Join a super-friendly team of seasoned and newbie sub-aqua hockey players for a fun but demanding twice weekly anaerobic workout.
