Vivocity is as chic as it sounds. A mind-numbingly huge shopping centre with a stylish design that leaves a deep impression. This is the Death Star of shopping malls-the biggest one in Singapore yet. Frankly, what I have noticed is that there is a repetition in the design of the mall, leading to confusion in some areas. I would not say it will be easy to get lost in there as there are conveniently located touchscreen information panels to help you navigate around this behemoth of a mall.
Fireworks are perhaps one of the few things that men, women and children all enjoy (dogs hate it; personal experience), watching hundreds of thousands of dollars go up in pretty, colorful flames in the night sky. The benevolent peoples at Vivocity are treating us to one such display at 9pm, 1st Dec for its 4th anniversary. Specially choreographed by Luso Pirotechnia from Portugal, it promises to be a beautiful sight.
