A new-born is never to be left alone. It is totally dependent on others and hence needs full time attention. So, no parents would like to leave their baby unguarded. If the baby is not sleeping, they can carry it with them and keep an eye on it. Problem arises when they want to be vigilant on the baby while it is sleeping. They have to waste their valuable time sitting lazily in front of the baby....
