Not many people will pass up good wine. One Legal, Inc., California’s leading court filing and process serving company, has announced that Trish Stevens-Marwedel from Sedgwick Detert & Moran was selected as the grand prize winner of the Wine Country Get-a-Way Sweepstakes. All registered One Legal customers who converted from fax filing to online ordering were automatically entered into the drawing.
Trish will receive a weekend in the Sonoma wine country, courtesy of One Legal. Her name was randomly selected from a list of over 2,000 users who registered for online services between April 15th and July 15th, 2007.
"We're thrilled to have had such a great response to our Wine Country Get-a-Way," says Bob Battaglia, Co-founder and CEO of One Legal, Inc. "As we made the shift to online-only ordering this summer, this contest provided an extra incentive for customers to register for services," he adds. "Customers who use our online system really enjoy the added benefits such as 24/7 access to order status, email confirmation of their orders and file-stamped caption pages and proofs of service at their convenience."
Beginning August 15th, 2007, One Legal discontinued paper work orders and moved to online ordering for all court filing orders. This is part of an overall effort to provide consistency in service level to all customers.
Founded in 1990 as Fax & File Legal Services, Inc., One Legal was the first company in the USA to file an electronically transmitted (faxed) court document with a state court. Since then, the company has filed and served more than 20 million court documents through its company-owned branches. One Legal has a customer base of more than 15,000 accounts with law firms, corporations, insurance carriers and state and local agencies. It currently offers traditional court filing and service of process, as well as eFiling and eService in both California and Texas, with planned expansion into other states.
