Perhaps you might already seen this of many future car lease specials what is about to replace the Vauxhall Vectra. Nevertheless, it seems that the Insignia is going to be one of the most significant vehicles for the year. Why? Because this car looks like it's going to give Ford's Mondeo a run for its money.
With all new sightings of the new Insignia, this beauty of a sedan comes at such perfect timing when people are looking for something fresh from other manufacturers. It's a family sedan that will go up against the Honda Accord, Mazda 6 and the Citroen C5 when it hits the showrooms in the next few months.
This is the first car on the GM Epsilon 2 platform and GM is actually planning to go all out with 13 different models over time. However, although there is much change from the Epsilon 1 platform, the Insignia takes on a traditional route, retaining its styling from older Vauxhall models. However, this isn't a bad thing at all as the Insignia oozes with class and quality.
Of course, there is no similarity at all with the precious Vectra model and this is all with good reason. Simply put, the Insignia replaces the Vectra and is planned to be more distinctive and more dynamic. There is no longer the traditional V-bar grille in the front with the Vauxhall logo. Smart headlights have daytime running lamps in standard models. Upper models will be fitted with LED technology.
At 4.82 meters, this newcomer of car lease specials is 21 cm longer than the Vectra but it retains the same height. The body styles will be available in hatchback, saloon and estate but they all look the same. Even the hatchback won't look any different from the saloon. The only difference will be that the hatch's back will feature plastic molding to achieve a sharp profile. As expected, this Insignia will help boost fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions. This is going to definitely be one of the most important of car lease specials when it hits showrooms starting this summer and well throughout the year.
