- Bedahulu Dynasty
Beginning with the arrival of Gajah Mada, the Bedahulu Dynasty were subsequently overthrown and Bali was place in a state of chaos. Majapahit then assigned Sri Kresna Kepakisan to lead the government in Bali.
- Gegel Dynasty
From 1460 to 1550 King Dalem Watu Renggong took over from Raden Agra Samprangan. Unlike the latter, the new king was competent and managed to improve the state of the Gelgel Dynasty. After his death, Dalem Bekung took the throne. The last ruler of the Gelgel age was Dalem Di Made (1605 – 1686).
- Klungkung Dynasty
Succeeding the Gelgel Dynasty by a rebellion led by I Gusti Agung Maruti, the Klungkung Dynasty came into existence. As Gusti wanted another place for his kingdom instead of Gelgel, the first king of this era was Dewa Agung Do Made II. This age had the kingdom divided into smaller dynasties and after which they become known as Swapraja, which has 8 dynasties, and then after independence it became kabupaten (municipality).
