Pekan, Pahang’s Royal Town, has a number of distinguished attractions that reflect the state’s glorious past. The Sultan Abu Bakar Palace or Royal Palace is an impressive sight even from afar. Pekan is situated on the banks of the Pahang River, about 50km south of Kuantan.
