Give yourself a Boost

by : Steven Gerasklis

You may look around and feel all alone. You think its impossible to quit smoking, you inevitably think to yourself that you cannot do it. But you are wrong and you are not alone. The greatest support network you have is yourself, you just have to learn to untap your potential.

A great way to support yourself is to constantly remind yourself that you can quit smoking and that you will. Every morning upon waking, you should look yourself in the mirror and repeat out aloud, "I will quit smoking", "I am a nonsmoker!" and "I am free from the nicotine trap". You should also practice these affirmations constantly throughout your quitting process. Repeat them mentally at work or whilst exercising.

Through constant repetition of positive affirmations, you can become your own successful support network. Simple techniques such as these can work wonders, so get cracking!
