This is Asia's largest oceanarium showcasing over 2500 marine life from more than 250 species. You'll first be greeted by brightly coloured corals, moray eels, sea dragons and jellyfishes.
Begin your journey through an 83-metre travellator tunnel that is home to many marine species, such as the blacktip and whitetip shark, eagle ray and big-belly seahorse - all common creatures inhabiting the ocean kingdom. You can even get up close and personal with the endangered ‘sea cow’ or dugong, named Gracie. She was rescued as a calf off Pulau Ubin in 1998.
There is usually an on-going exhibition in the exhibit hall on the first level of Underwater World. Currently they are exhibiting "Living Fossils" that features various unique and amazing freshwater creatures that inhabited the sea a few millions years ago. Good educational fun for the whole family!
