Housed in the historic Bowyer Block Clock Tower, The SGH Museum occupies the only block out of three blocks opened as the General Hospital in 1926.
Preserved and restored to its former grandeur and beauty, the museum is equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia technology. Re-visit almost 200 years of medical history and education in Singapore through comprehensive artifact displays and interviews with medical practitioners.
As a tribute to many of the doctors who have walked the halls of SGH, the museum’s Luminaries section features a recreated façade of the King Edward VII College of Medicine Building – the seat of medical education in Singapore.
