Company Start: The company was founded in 1946 by the current owners' grandfather, Al Moscatel, who started out selling sundries in Seattle's iconic Pike Place Market. Neiso Moscatel, Al's son, was just 15 years old when his father passed away. Suddenly Neiso and his older brother Raymond, were in charge of running the family furniture business.
