When you're around Vivocity, must pop in here to try the kolo mee. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Will go back and try their wanton mee also. looked very nice and didn't get a chance to taste.

Yummy jia xiang mee! Very tasty!
their noodles dry tossed in sesame seed oil and pork fat very nice Served with char siew , mince meat, prawns and dumplings. It all comes together pretty well.
I have no idea how Sarawak Famous Kolo Mee taste like so i went for a try. The noodle is spongy and chewy, quite tasty also. The ingredients are generous too, there is char siew, pork dumplings that is fully stuffed, and some veggies. The sauce is special, a bit sour and fragrant. Would like to have the authentic kolo mee at Sarawak next time. Spending: Approximately SGD 4(Lunch)
Me and my friends were at Vivocity, looking for a cheap and good place to eat. However, the foodcourt was WAY too crowded and while we were hovering at the entrance of the foodcourt a lady approached us and asked us to try out the Jia Xiang Sarawak Kuching Kolo Mee which was a small restaurant just next to the foodcourt at B1.

We were so surprised by her act, and she kept on saying that this was the best wanton mee stall ever..etc. We decided to give it a try.

Wanton Mee (kolo mee) - 4/5
First off, don't expect $3-$4 wanton mee here. A bowl costs about $6 bucks.

I ordered their signature wanton mee and i must say, i did not regret! The noodles are really special and had a very nice QQ texture to it. The wanton was ordinary though but i loved the char siew. Add some chilli sauce into your noodles to enhance the flavours!

Curry Kolo Mee $6 - 3.5/5

My friends order their curry chicken noodles and the curry was not bad; thick and flavorful. They were also very generous with their chicken, which was good, considering that this was an expensive bowl of noodles. Apart from that, nothing really special, but not a bad dish at all.

Overall, the staff had interesting deco, much like the olden eras where they had wooden benches and tables. Service wise, nothing much to comment on. Will be back when my pockets are feeling fat enough for a bowl of expensive noodles!
