their drinks are so refreshing! Soo good, highly recommended!
cocoa rocksalt and cheese - highly recommended! seems weird but its worth the try!:)
Fresh drinks to boost up my day! Love it!
Have you ever tried milk tea with pudding instead of pearls? Try one at Happy Lemon. Very yummy!
Happy Lemon promotion, get it now at ION :) Love the Lemon Peppermint!
Enjoy the chocolate rock salt and cheese from happy lemon! I miss this drink:) had to take away and bring to work.
I love bubble tea! Add red bean for that extra ooommpphh factor. Too bad u cant choose the sweetness level at happy lemon--too sweet! But delicious nonetheless :) worth a go if u havent tried it yet
Brought a cup of their kumquat green tea with coconut jelly. This beverage has a nice and refreshing kumquat taste, not too sour. As for the green tea, it was well cooked, has a nice green tea aroma and no bitterness taste. The coconut jelly has a soft and chewy texture, go well with the drink. With more and more bubble tea kiosk opening in singapore, I think that different bubble tea kiosk should come up with their own unique creation of drink to attract customers so that customers will have more choices of drink to choose from.
I think happy lemon should implement some sugar level scale. I was really thirsty after shopping around junction 10 with my mum. I decided to head to happy lemon to order their refreshing drink to share with my mum. After looking at the menu, we settled for the honey lemon juice. We thought that with the addition of honey, the drink will have a balance of sweetness and sourness. However, to our horror, when we took a sip, it was so sour. The sourness makes your teeth tingle and it lingered for a while. There was no hint of the honey in the drink. Since we ordered their jumbo size, it would be a waste of money if we stop drinking after one sip, so we just put up with the sourness and continue drinking. After a while, the tingling in the teeth stop, probably our mouth got used to the sourness. But the sourness did last pretty long. I seriously recommend them to have sugar level like other bubble tea stalls. Different people have their preference for their drink, but I guess most of the time, it was a little sour for me.
I ordered a drink from happy lemon, they sell drinks that are much different from normal bubble tea. I decided to try their grapefruit green tea with aloe vera. They did not ask me what sugar level I wanted so I assume this drink did not have any sugar level. The drink turned out pretty sour, probably due to the grapefruit. It did not have much grapefruit flavour as well, but the aloe vera was quite good though, it was sweet and chewy. In the end I still could not finish it up cos it was kind of sour. I guess should have opted for their milk tea series. Will give them another shot if I happen to pass by their shop again.
After the much disappointing green tea with rock salt cheese, I decided to try their tea latte with pearls. Behind this complicated name, it is actually just milk tea with pearls. To my surprise, their milk tea is really very good, it had this really fragrant taste probably from the tea leaves they used to brew the tea. the milk tea was very smooth, no bitter after taste. The amount of milk they added was just right, it was creamy yet does not overpower the tea taste. The pearls were very chewy yet does not stick to the teeth. As a whole, I think this is one of the best drink I have tasted from happy lemon.
I had a voucher for happylemon, so I decided to utilise it before it expires since there is an outlet here at Bugis Junction. They have a wide variety of different drinks and the lemon yakult drink combination looked quite special to me which prompted me to order it. The drink on first sip is actually a little sourish and although it is a lemon yakult drink, I can\'t really taste the yakult. I would think that the taste is quite unique but I didnt really like it because I can\'t really taste any distinct flavour. I would most probably stick to their best selling drinks next time instead of choosing this.
The first disappointment has to be the realisation that Happy Lemon is no longer serving their drinks in their signature cup with a happy face. I definitely missed having my drink in their happy cup. And thanks to my adventurous mood, i decided to try the Green Tea with Rock Salt & Cheese for $3.50. I have gotta agree with the earlier review that the green tea was very much overwhelmed and overtook the taste of rock salt and cheese. It tasted more like the usual green tea with milk. The drink served with no topping by default. I could not appreciate such a taste hence this would be an exclusive experience.
The milk tea and oreo cookies makes me happy!
I went shopping at bugis with my daughter, after hours of shopping, we got really tired and thirsty so we decided to get our drink from happy lemon. After staring at the menu for quite some time, I decided to get the lemon green tea in jumbo size. When my drink came, I was filled with disappointment. It turned out so sour until I can feel the hair at the back of my neck stand. Somehow I thought the green tea would add some sweetness to the drink but it didn’t. it turned out to taste pretty bitter. With a combination of extremely sour and bitter, I could only tell myself not to order this drink ever again. Next time I should try their latte series, my girl seemed to have enjoyed herself.
I was shopping with my girlfriend for chinese new year clothes and along the way we grabbed a drink from Happy Lemon. We shared a cup of green tea with rock salt cheese. The drink was fragrant even just by smelling it. Upon tasting it, both of us agreed that the green tea gave a rather refreshing sensation. However as the rock salt cheese started mixing with the green tea, the green tea taste was overshadowed by the rock salt cheese. It was a little heavy taste and more towards the salty taste.
I was walking around bugis junction and could not decide what to have, sharetea or happy lemon or I love taimei. After much pondering, I finally settled for happy lemon. I decided to give their milk tea with mesona jelly. Their milk tea is really good, very smooth and refreshing. The mesona jelly is really smooth and simply glides down the throat. I love the texture of the mesona jelly, very smooth. it makes the drink even more refreshing. A must try!
Had not heard about this shop until I got a discount coupon from openrice Christmas contest;D I decided to try it that day as I happened to be at bugis junction. The taste of the drink was nice;D it is refreshing and cooling. And I love the jelly, so chewy and tasty.(: The passionfruit isn’t too sour, it is sweeter but not overly sweet. May consider to buy it again.(:
I tried happy lemon green tea with rock salt cheese. It was one of their signature drink. I guess this drink did not suit me. I find the drink a little salty, the sweetness of the green tea and the saltiness of the cheese and rock salt did not go well. Initially when you first start drinking, it was rather refreshing, but after a while, I kind of got sick of the taste and could not finish the drink. But nevertheless I have been drinking happy lemon and all their other drinks are really good and refreshing especially their honey lemon. I guess their rock salt cheese is not suitable for me.
Unlike the numerous milk tea stalls all over Singapore. This stall has a unique twist to it\'s tea, many of it\'s teas are based on lemon favor hence the stall name Happy Lemon. One of it\'s recommended drink is the honey lemon with seaweed jelly drink. The drink has a nice honey lemon taste but not too sour and the seaweed jelly really complements the drink.
This was my first time ordering a drink from Happy Lemon in Singapore. My first encounter with Happy Lemon was in Hong Kong a couple of years ago. I have fallen in love with their drinks since then. It is definitely a good news for a fan like myself when they decided to come to Singapore. I was there on a Sunday evening. The queue was rather long. I waited for about 15 minutes to order and another 10 minutes to get my drinks. The Jumbo sized was not available on that day so we ended up ordering the regular sized. We ordered a Lemon Pineapple with Nata Da Coco and Lemon Honey with Seaweed Jelly. Both drinks were good. I love the tinge of lemon to balance the sweetness to give its a wonderful combination. The refreshing taste is simply alluring and gotten me hooked, again and again. I will definitely be back for more.
After the steamboat buffet, we were all rather tasty so we headed for some drinks to quench our thirst. We settled for happy lemon, but to our dismay, almost everything was sold out, only left with those lemon and chocolate drinks. I settled for honey lemon juice to cool my body down after eating the very heaty steamboat. I think their honey was finishing too, cos my drink turned out super sour, it is like they did not even add honey. How disappointing… I thought happy lemon drinks were quite good. I might as well go and suck a lemon.
Seeing the long queue during lunch hours, my friend and I were tempted to try this drinks stall. I ordered their lemon honey with seaweed jelly as suggested and it was indeed refreshing! Its an appetizing drink to have before or after meals as it gets you feeling refreshed. One can request for their preferred sugar level and this is really helpful to those who dislike their drinks to be too sweet.
Happy lemon started in Hongkong the price in singapore is abit over priced when i was in HK,one large cup only cost 12HKD i tried tea latte with black pearl sago pudding & adzuki bean & pudding & it cost $3.60 price really different from hk but i\'m quite satisfied with the taste The pearl not as chewy as KOI but their pudding really nice & also not so sweet
There is a rise of bubble tea store in Singapore once again in these recent years. One of it is Happy Lemon from Orchard Ion. A little girl head is the identical icon of this bubble tea store. Among all the bubble store, I think it has the most "weirdest" choice of drink. i personally like the lemon honey with seaweed jelly. It is the best drink for those who love sour drinks. One of the different thing that distinct them with others bubble store is that they have pudding as one of their toppings.
I was looking for a drink that I could grab on the go. Then I saw Happy Lemon, what lured me towards them was the choice of drinks they offer. Lemon Series: - Lemon Black Tea - Lemon Green Tea - Lemon Honey Juice - Lemon Honey with Seaweed Jelly - Lemon Peppermint with QQ Jelly - Lemon Pineapple with QQ Jelly - Lemon Yogurl with Aloe Rock Salt Cheese Series: - Green Tea - Cocoa - Coffee Mousse Spin: - Mango & Orange Yogurt - Lemon Yakult - Matcha with Adzuki Bean Cocoa & Coffee Series: - Cocoa with Pudding - Cocoa Pudding Special - Grapefruit Black Coffee with Aloe - Latte - OREO Cookies & Cream Coffee - Mocha Cocoa Specialty Drinks: - Yakult Green Tea - Gapefruit Green Tea with Aloe - Mango Green Tea - Matcha with Malt - Passion Fruit Yogurt with Kanten and QQ Jelly - Blueberry Yogurt with Kanten and QQ Jelly - Matcha with Adzuki Bean and Pudding - Cocoa Matcha with Brown Sugar Jelly Tea Latte: - Aromatic Tea Latte with Pearl Sago - Cocoa Tea Latte with Puff Cream - Cocoa Tea Latte with Brown Sugar Jelly - Aromatic Cocoa Tea Latte - Tea Latte Pudding/Mesona Jelly Special - Tea Latte King Pudding/Mesona Jelly - Tea Latte with Black Pearl Sago - Tea Latte with Pearl Sago and Puff Cream - Aromatic Tea Latte with Adzuki Bean and Pudding - Tea Latte with OREO Cookies & Cream Fresh Fruit Tea: - Mixed Fruit Green Tea with QQ Jelly - Kumquat Green Tea with QQ Jelly - Orange Green Tea with QQ Jelly Just looking at the lists, does it make you a little curious to try it out? Happy Lemon serves distinguish drinks and not only that Happy Lemon aims to provide consumers with a lifestyle experience, interweaving quality beverage choices with popular culture. They too adopt a strict quality control system to ensure their ingredients are always fresh and their beverages are always consistent in taste. They do not use added preservatives or artificial additives in their beverages. I had the Grapefruit Green Tea with Aloe which was not bad! Their price range is between $2.30 - $5.50. Try out Happy Lemon at Ion Orchard, Bugis Junction or Tanjong Pagar SMRT Exchange today!
My friend is obsessed with happy lemon but I weren\'t because of the pricey price of the bubble tea. I am right though. I shouldn\'t have bought it. I ordered the lemon mango, the one recommended. I don\'t really like the lemon pieces in it. I asked for the pearls with additional 50cents. Too pricey, I know it tastes good but the price is too much. $3.50 or more just for that. I don\'t think so. I still like sweet talk cos it\'s much much cheaper & artiste.
I was having some sore throat so I decided to head to happy lemon and order their honey lemon juice with seaweed jelly. The seaweed jelly was one of the worst toppings I have tasted. It was merely just agar agar jelly. It did not even have the crunch in the jelly. I was so disappointed, as for the honey lemon, it was soothing to the throat.
A very cheerful name that will attract customers of all age and there are really a lot of weird combinations to try out for those who loved unique taste. But i would much rather a simple normal drink, and thus, went with my usual milk tea with pudding. I had the milk tea with 50% sugar because of the pudding, which will be sweet. The milk tea is not as milky as i like it, but it was still alright. Tea was aromatic and the person really put less ice, as requested.
With so many Bubble tea outlets around the vicinity, we decided to try something different - Super Lemon offers new varieties and flavours, exclusive to them only. As the weather is pretty hot, we opt for their thirst quenching Lemon flavoured range, and bought the Lemon Honey with Seaweed Jelly. The Seaweed jelly looked like the green coloured version of middle sized pearls, but unlike the bubble pearls, the Seaweed jelly tasted just like normal agar agar. At Happy Lemon, you don\'t get to choose the sugar level, but the drinks are prepared to just the "right sweetness" for us, and its definitely worth going back to more.Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Night Snack)
I was craving for some drink after shopping at the mad great Singapore sale. Was so glad to come across happy lemon. As my dry was feeling kind of itchy, I ordered the honey lemon juice. Not only did it quench my thirst, it also soothe my throat. I really enjoyed this beverage on a hot afternoon!
I fell in love with this drink. Happy Lemon\'s Tea Latte with Brown Sugar Jelly($4) and I always order the JUMBO size. It is a drink that keeps me happy, just somehow. The tea latte, which taste like super thick milk tea, is very rich and the brown sugar jelly just complements the drink so well! Say bye-bye to the old, tapioca pearls. For just 4 bucks, its worth it!
I was thirsty and the queue is short thus decided to try out their normal milk tea with pearls. Well, the pearls are soft and chewy. Tea is aromatic and not too sweet as i ordered 50% sugar level. Somehow i feel they are losing customers, as the queue compared to previously is getting lesser! Neither any complaints nor raves. Pretty simple cup of bubble tea.
It’s new opening in Tanjong Pagar Exchange. It’s currently located next to the Mr.Bean. If you see the queue in front of a stall, you should know it’s the Happy Lemon stall. The queue is not long as KOI. After you make your order at the cashier, they will give you the cute number. Then wait them to call your number and collect your drinks. Their drinks are not cheap though. You can find the drink from $2.80~$5.00. I tried the Green Tea Yakult, taste nice. It’s not too sour or too sweet and it’s good for digestion? They have a special series, drinks with rock salt and cheese. Will try it someday.
Happy Lemon has unique bubble tea flavour combinations that got me curious on buying a cup to try. But eventually, I settled for one of their popular drinks: Coco Tea Latte with Brown Sugar Jelly ($3.20). What\'s special about this drink is the addition of brown sugar jelly. It\'s not a soft texture that you will get from your usual jelly; these jelly cubes are crisp which I believe it\'s due to the brown sugar. Additional sweet points for this drink! Now that I had a satisfying first experience, I will be back with a more adventurous heart.

Happy Lemon at Ion is always crowded with queues of people. The drink that I ordered is refreshing and not too sweet or sour.

They should have added less ice as it became very diluted after the ice melted. Will try other flavours at Happy Lemon next time as there are the best sellers drink at Happy Lemon which seems to be quite popular.

Whenever I pass by this outlet at Ion Orchard B4, I will always see a queue forming there for its food & drinks. Moreover, there were quite a lot of good reviews about this oulet so being curious, I decided to pop by & try out 1 of their recommended drinks.

I looked through the menu and was quite surprised at the prices of their drinks. Most drinks were above $3 each! That's expensive to me when I can get more variety of Gong Cha or Koi at lower prices. Finally I decided on the "cheapest" recommended non-caffeine drink - Perilla Lemon Honey Juice ($3).

Luckily I got my drink pretty fast after just 1 customer. The special thing about this drink is that they added little bits of what I believe is Perilla (as seen in the picture) which adds a bit of crunch to the drink. However, other than that it is just simply normal lemon honey drink, more sour than sweet in fact.

If you ask me whether I will order this drink again in future? I'm afraid not, at least not when it's $3......

Tea latte with pearl sago and cream puff is a very sweet drink!!More like a diabetic kinda drink. Should have asked them to lower suger level but they do not have this service compared to other bubble tea shops.

Guess the cream puff makes the drink even sweeter.Shall try other flavours next time.

Read a review on OpenRice about Happy Lemon and I decided to try it when I go to town and I am glad that I did try! It was better than KOI.

When I first saw the menu, I was shocked with so many weird names and combinations. I ordered the unique Rock Salt + Cheese combo with Chocolate and to my surprise, it actually taste nice. But maybe it is because I have ordered the more "common" drink of their, I can't taste the uniqueness of Happy Lemon and my drink taste more like Chocolate Milk (because the rock salt taste didn't jump out and the milky texture is quite strong).

I will definitely try out the other drinks if I happened to pass by the store, even though the price range (around $2 to $3.50? for each cup) is a bit steep for students like me.

Overall, it is a nice experience! Look forward to queues outside Happy Lemon branches in the future, it is like the next KOI craze.

After my IPL session at Strip, my stomach longed for a quick fix (if you don’t already know by now, I’m always in need of a quick food and drink fix for an energy boost to keep up with my oh-so-hectic schedule) so I, not surprisingly, entered Ion’s basement 4, which was my type of foodie paradise, with quick food bites and drinks stalls galore. Normally to find such unique stalls you would have to walk down the rowdy and non-air-conditioned streets of Taiwan or China, but in this case, we can find them in a posh shopping mall that we all quickly fell in love with. I was in search of a smoothie store that sold real fruit juice when Happy Lemon (not a real fruit juice store) caught my eye. How could it not? It’s ridiculously cute, which was was got me a bit wary at first, because cute = sweet = dangerous. My fears quickly diminished when I learned that Happy Lemon select only high quality ingredients and they do not subscribe to preservatives or artificial additives for their drinks. Alas, I can keep to my plan of having a healthy diet!

Wanting to stay true to my healthy dose of antioxidants, I chose the Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese for $3.50, regular size please. Paid up and took my queue number which was in the form of, you guessed it, some lemon thingy (what exactly do you call that thingy in the picture below? For the life of me, I’ve been wrecking my brains to find out! Those of you who know, please advice! Xie xie ne!)

Yay, got my drink!

Oh what’s that you say dear counter staff? I musn’t drink it with the straw or I can’t taste the cheese? Oh, okay, sure. But the foam on top doesn’t taste very cheese-like to me though, in fact, it reminds me of Gong Cha’s signature milk tea at City Square Mall where there is a thick layer of foamy milk with green tea powder sprinkled on top of it. It has been awhile since I’ve drank Gong Cha’s Milk Tea and I’ve only done so once, so I might have to re-explore what the difference is between these two drinks, but as far as I can remember, the similarities are quite uncanny.

Loads of other creative types to check out such as the Mousse Spin series where they have Yakult! Yay!

Throughout my six-month stint in Shanghai, I remained a fervent fan of all Happy Lemon franchises despite cheaper alternatives and often found myself wishing one over to Singapore. My wish was granted this year.

Four-year-old bubble tea chain Happy Lemon, which specialises in Lemon-inspired drinks as its name suggests, has recently set up its first branch outside of China and Hong Kong at the basement of Ion.

THE FOOD:

Don't be surprised by various strange combinations such as its Lemon Mousse Spin series, "Rock salt cheese" series and even a Tea Latte with Pearl Sago and Puff Cream. For the adventurous coffee fiends, you might want to try out interesting coffee concoctions like its Grapefruit Black Coffee and Italian Blood Orange Black Coffee.

I naturally went for my favourite Yakult combination in Shanghai and ordered a Lemon Yakult drink. While some might find it strange, my taste buds are already accustomed to Yakult blended drinks. The tinge of lemon (real bits of the fruit) adds a much needed refreshing take after a heavy meal. Plus, Yakult is supposed to be good for digestion.

My companion had a hot Malt Tea Latte, which came highly recommended by his friend. The drink warmed us freezing people up and proved a delicious though filling option. Definitely one to have when feeling unreasonably hungry before a meal. You may also add pearls, jelly and other strange stuff into your drink.

The Rock Salt Cheese series, while not impressive enough for me to return for more, is not too bad either. I could hardly taste the rock salt despite being convinced by the counter staff that I have to drink from the cup to better savour this drink. I won't give the other choices in the series a try, but if you are going to, give yours a little swirl to taste the cheese bits at the bottom. There are three choices available in the Rock Salt Cheese series: Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese, Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese, and Coffee with Rock Salt and Cheese (Regular $3.50, Jumbo $4.50).

Prices range from $2.30 to $4.70, in addition the number and type of add-ons you go for.

THE MOOD:

Happy Lemon has the brightest, cheeriest bubbly tea corporate image as compared to Gong Cha and Koi. Service's fast and friendly. Upon ordering, you will be given a sweet little queue token in the form of the mascot Lemon Girl. I was happy to note that I was served within 10 minutes, a marked improvement from queues at Koi shops! But like most other bubble tea franchises, Happy Lemon does not provide seating.

In all, Happy Lemon does not top the list of bubble tea in Singapore for taste but shoppers around Ion will be glad for the healthier choice – this bright shop does not add preservatives or artificial additives to their drinks.
