Release the carnivore in you with the Crossroads Grilled Steak Sandwich with mushrooms, onions and buffalo mozzarella cheese ($21). Highly commendable, the hearty slab of meat in the sandwich is juicy, smoky and flavorful, while the mushroom and cheese gives the sandwich an added punch.
Health-conscious individuals may look under the Fit for You menu which offers dishes with minimal carbohydrates, less or no fats and low cholesterol. The Grilled Raspberry Chicken with Toasted Almonds ($16.50) allows one to eat healthy without compromising on taste. Even though the chicken is slightly too dry, the toasted almonds compensate with its unique distinct taste while the raspberries keeps each mouthful refreshing.
If you are in the mood for a plate of Hainanese Chicken Rice ($19.50), the iconic dish of Singapore , is served with a bowl of piping hot chicken broth and traditional condiments such as ginger, chili, and dark soy sauce. The chicken is smooth and succulent, and its sesame oil remarkably tasty. In addition, the chef has perfected the culinary art of blending the chili - a good mix of sweet, sour and spicy tastes. However, the rice does have room for improvement for it is rather dry by its own.
