History of Tiong Bahru Jian Bo Shui Kueh

The history of Tiong Bahru Jian Bo Shui Kueh is as far back as 1958 where it all started from a small stall in Tiong Bahru Market. Many Singaporeans love the taste because our Shui Kueh are traditionally hand-made by us, combined with our secret recipe for the “Chai Po” topping on top of the Shui Kueh and special chilli sauce. 

In 1995, we realized that it was time to bring our company and product to the next level. As such, we stepped out of Tiong Bahru Market to expand our business further, naming ourselves “Zheng Zhong Tiong Bahru Shui Kueh” and “Tiong Bahru Jian Bo Shui Kueh”. We can now be found in many Hawker centers and Coffee shops all over Singapore. 

Zheng Zhong Tiong Bahru Shui Kueh has also diversified and extended our product range to include other snacks. These include Chee Cheong Fan, Yam Cake, Pumpkin, Ang Ku Kueh, Glutinous Rice, Lapis Sago Rainbow, Triangle Coconut, Oneh-oneh, You Tiao, Butterfly, Peanut Sesame Ball, Banana Premix, Spring Roll, Salted Bun etc. Each of which is produced with high quality.

Today, we intend to move into modern shopping malls and MRT Stations and are looking forward to bringing the Shui Kueh closer to your homes.
