EDI’s JET and SET qualifications are a range of internationally accredited qualifications, designed to assess the learner’s ability to communicate in English. JETSET provides a clear and consistent pathway through English language learning, from beginner to full fluency, enabling learners of all ages and backgrounds to develop their skills.
This programme covers key syllabus topics and focuses on the core vocabulary and grammar demands. It also aims to develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of students. Special attention is given to English pronunciation, vocabulary, idioms, and conversational conventions used in academic and professional settings. The programme is available at 4 levels with consistent progression between levels.

It provides a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the business sector. Also designed to provide strong vocational programme of study, which offers opportunities for progession onto further study.
Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNCs provide a nationally recognised qualification offering career progression andprofessional development for those already in employment and opportunities to progress into higher education.

AWARD CRITERIA
The Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC in Business is a qualification with a minimum of 120 credits of which 60 are mandatory core. The Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC programme must contain a minimum of 65 credits at level 4.

INTRODUCTION
The Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND (Higher National Diploma) in Business is accredited onto the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) at Level 5, in other words students may progress to study at university level with advanced standing after obtaining the Higher National Diploma. A Pearson BTEC HND can be accepted as credit for third year of an undergraduate degree. Nevertheless, the university may accept the candidate at its sole discretion on a case by case basis.
Students who are in pursuit of the Pearson BTEC Level 5 Programme in Business which covers Marketing, Business Administration and Management that will equip them with education and training for a range of careers in business.

Students are required to pass all 16 units with a minimum of 240 credits of which 125 are mandatory core. At least 125 credits of the 240 credits must be at Level 5.

The courseis equivalent to a 2nd year undergraduate program and it provides specialisation in the following areas: Business decision making and strategy, employee relations, business ventures, and project management.
