Who is JangWon ?

JangWon(狀元) Korean  restaurant  in Chinatown in Singapore.
We were grand opening 2005 full weekend of July. Very traditional and upscale place that provides quick and friendly servers. Welcome to ask us if anything else is needed so often that you feel bad but not uncomfortable.

All meals are complemented by a selection of side dishes that are made in-house daily.  The prices are not bad for a Korean Barbeque place and the servings were not stingy. We hope our quality of service and food stays consistent - something most new Korean restaurants fail to achieve over the course of a year after opening.   Enjoying the wonderful tastes and experiencing the beauty of truly good food is one of our life passions.

What is the best?

The menu is set up for sharing and also offers a wide variety of new and classic dishes.

You may try bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap, budae-jjigae, samgyetang all of those are very good and portions plentiful.

Sujeongwa and rice cracker  served as complimentary dessert.
