Anse Royale
This beach is the longest on Mahé and it provides beaches protected from choppy seas, providing a safe and comfortable swimming haven. This makes for very favorable conditions for swimming and beach fun from May to October.

This is a very wide beach, which provides huge swells that are favored by surfers. Multi-directional currents can make swimming a little challenging at times but the Banyan Tree Resort will notify swimmers of dangerous conditions with signal flags. Anse Intendance is one of the spots that turtles still nest.
Anse Cimitiere
Cimitiere is a very hidden beach and is quite hidden. Monsoon season is from May to October and is a time of large waves and dangerous surf. There are a few natural swimming pools created by protecting rocks on the beach. If you are looking for a nice change there is the inland forest that can be explored by horses from the Riding Centre Utegangar.
Port Launay
This is one of the most beautiful beaches on Mahé and is located on the west side of the island. This beach will have the largest population of beach goers on weekends. Swimming is great here and the beach is very well maintained.
Anse Georgette
Rated as one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, Anse Georgette is located on the island of Praslin. Only accessible by boat the beach offers the luxury of the Lemuria Resort. This is a favorite of Honeymooners because of the intimacy of the private beach.
Anse Bois de Rose
This beach is known for its fishing and there is a great spot for swimming located next to the hotel Coco de Mer.
Anse Source D'Argent One of the most popular beaches in the Seychelles. Huge granite boulders separate it from Anse Lazio and make this a hotspot for filming and photography. The beach is a favorite for magazines as well as some well known television holiday programs.
Anse Bamboos
Located on the island of Frégate, Anse Bamboos has the main hotel on the island. It boasts some currents, however these are not too dangerous to swimmers and there is a lifeguard stationed here for safety precautions. Sun chairs with large shade umbrellas line the beach for your comfort.
Anse d'Est
Anse d'Est is located on the east side of North Island and this is where large coral beds are located just off the beach. The North Island Lodge has a pool, restaurant, library and a diving center.

This is the most popular beach in the Protaras municipality and there are a variety of water sports here for visitors to enjoy.
Ladies' Mile Beach
This is a golden sandy beach with shallow, clear, and very calm waters. This beach is very safe for kids and is plentiful with water sports
Curium Beach
This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus. High above the beach is a restored Roman Amphitheater. From this vantage you can watch the boats and water sports. The sea can be very rough at times but the beaches are gentle and favorable for swimmers. This beach can get a little crowded at times due to its popularity.
Pissouri Beach
This is a sandy shingle beach that is located in the village of Pissouri. There is a full compliment of water sports and even a diving school for those inclined to dive. This is a beach that is rarely over crowded except on the weekends.
Governor's Beach
Located between Larnaca and Limassol, this is a shallow beach that is great for small children to play and swim. There is also a white rocks area that is beautiful with great fishing and sailing at this beach.
Nissi Beach
Nissi Bay This is a beach located in the calm Nissi Bay, which provides shelter from the wind. This beautiful beach comes with magnificent views as well as having great, cafes, pubs, and a variety of water sports.
Fig Tree Bay Beach
This beach is aptly named because of a lone Fig Tree that grows just up from the Beach. This is a very popular beach in the Protaras District. This beach can be difficult to locate due restaurants and hotels lining the beach. Look for the Salparo Hotel to the north and the Nausicaa Beach Hotel Apartments to the south.
