The ancient village of Duong Lam on the outskirts of Hanoi is also known as a museum of laterite, home to many building in three or four centuries before with lateritic bricks. That was the birth of two villages Vietnam king.

Ngo Quyen (897-944) is the hero who brought independence to the Vietnamese people after more than 1000 years of Chinese domination. In 938, Ngo Quyen progress from Ai Chau in Thanh Hoa province to beat South Korea (Chinese) troops on the Bach Dang River. After ascending the throne, Ngo Quyen established royal capital in the speakers.

Mong Phu Hamlet is a site recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Information as a national historical and cultural heritage. The Mia pagoda, also called Sung Nghiem Tu, seated on a small hill in Dong Sang village. It was built before 1632 and have been restored and upgraded several times, houses 287 Buddha Statues, most beautiful of which is Tong Quan Am Tu or Ying Kwan Bodhlsattva.
To reach Duong Lam village from Hanoi, drive along National Highway No.32 or Lang-Hoa Lac Expressway, turn right on National Highway No.21 and continue for 50 km.
