First on the list is the 'Step Brothers'; this is one of the most anticipated movies, and is scheduled to be shown in July 25. It is a comedy film starring Well Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Adam Scott; and Mary Steenburgen and directed by Adam Mckay. It features the story of two individuals: Brennan Huff (played by Will Ferrell) and Dale Doback (played by John C Reilly) who have one thing in common-- they are both lazy, unemployed individuals who still live with their parents. When Dale's father and Brennan's mother marry and move in together, it turns the overgrown boys' world upside down. Their narcissism and insane rivalry pull the new family apart, forcing them to work together to reunite their parents.
Another movie that is to be shown on July 25 is the 'X-Files: I Want To Believe'; It is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits. This is directed by Chris Carter
Third on the list is the 'American Teen'; it is scheduled to be in theater on the same date. The movie features the stories of some American teenagers: Hannah Bailey, a smart and beautiful girl but a misfit in her high school; Colin Clemens is the star of the high school basketball team - and in Indiana, basketball is everything. Jake Tusing is considered to be a nerd in high school; Mitch Reinholdt is an attractive and charming Varsity basketball jock with a soft side. When he puts his social status on the line, avoiding his popular friends for dates with artsy Hannah Bailey, he strains to maintain his reputation while discovering a new side of himself; and Megan Krizmanich is the student council Vice President and the youngest daughter of a prominent local surgeon, anxiously awaiting word from Notre Dame University admissions. This is directed by Nanette Burstein.
