1. Never diet! A diet is the best way to GAIN weight. You will lose weight at first, because you're changing your normal habits.But, as soon as you go off the diet,. you gain back everything you lost and a lot more.
2.Eat only what you want to eat. If you deny yourself food, you are changing what is normal for you. 6.Eat two small pieces of candy five minutes before your meal. Doing this will alleviate the hunger pangs and raise your blood sugar. This way the stomach will not demand that you eat everything you can get your hands on. When you are hungry and your sugar level is low, your body will make you eat until your stomach tells your brain you are full. The problem is, by the time your stomach tells your brain it is ful, you've already way over eaten and you have a stomach ache. That's why two small piece of candy are so very important.
7.Make sure you splurge once each week. If you want a banana split with the works have a banana split with the works. But no more than one splurge per week. Also, try to do your splurge on the same day each week. Never change your splurge day. If you splurge day is Monday, and you don't feel like splurging, do not splurge Tuesday. Wait till the following Monday.
8.Eat a potato every day. A potato is nature's perfect food. It contains almost every vitamin mineral and nutrient body could need. It is also very low in calories. Cut a potato up and throw it in your scrambled eggs or make a potato omelette. Have a baked potato with dinner. Or it add potato cubes to your salad. Make sure you always include the skins.
9.Enjoy restaurant life. Go to any restaurant you like and order anything you like to eat. Here's the trick. Never eat more than one half of the serving. Have the restaurant pack the rest and take it home. You can have a meal of it the next day. This way your meals only cost half as much. Drink as much soda as you want, but make sure it's diet. Today you can get almost any food, or drink, in sugar-free form an it tastes absolutely delicious.
10.Last, and most important, DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING. Take a walk around the block. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Go swim a lap. Just do something. You will not lose any weight sitting on the couch or lying in bed. You must do something to burn off what you eat.
Remember you won't lose weight quickly BUT you will be able to keep it from returning.
