1. There are still many people having a dial up internet connection. If you live in an area where high-speed Internet is available you must make the switch right away.

You just can't afford to be waiting around for pages to load when you are doing computer work from home. The amount of time that you waste can cost you a tremendous amount of income over the course of a year.

If you don't live in an area where high-speed Internet is available you may want to consider purchasing an Internet card. Many companies such as AT&T and Sprint offer these where you can have Internet anywhere in the world that you have reception.

2. People who do Internet marketing such as affiliate programs make a big mistake when they don't build a mailing list. One of the simple ways to earn money on the internet from computer work at home right now is that you should have a mailing list and provide offers to it.

Affiliate marketers make mistakes when they use the duplicated website provided by affiliate programs. Most of these are sales pages that do not have a way for you to make changes to them. This means you can not add a sign-up form and build a mailing list and it's a mistake if you don't create your own website and do that.

3. Many people are not very adept at using a computer and really should start by taking some basic computer training. This would be helpful for anyone, but it is almost a necessity for people who do computer work from home.
