These days there are so many different kinds of food. You could can and probably have gone a whole month without having the same food twice. With so many different kinds of foods there has to be at least a few that will help you lose weight. There always seems to be a new fad diet that says eat this or drink that and the pounds will melt off of you. The one thing all these diets have in common is that they limit and cut back a person calorie intake.



The first and simplest thing you can do is to drink water. Many of the times that you think you're hungry you are actually just thirsty. The reason for this confusion is that the signals for both hunger and thirst are very similar it east to mix them up. So by drinking a large glass of water "that has no calories" you won't eat as often and when you do eat you will also eat less.

Some foods to eat to lose weight are to cut back on the extras. The extras always taste great but they are so high in fats and calories that they make even a salad unhealthy to eat. A salad by itself is extremely health and will do a lot to help a person lose weight quickly. As soon as you add the ranch it's about the same as fast food.

Also be careful about all the toppings that you add to any meal or food. The taste is just not worth the calories. A baked potato is great if done correctly, the first thing people want to add to it is butter and sour cream and then it's terrible for you.

Having a variety of food is not always the best think to have. When you have a selection of a lot of foods it is natural for you to want to have some of everything. The problem is that even after your full you haven't finished have some of everything. So you force it down because there is always room for just a little more. This is not part of your foods to eat to lose weight stratagem. You should actually limit the number of foods you eat at each meal. This will help you realize when your full and to actually stop eating when you get to that point.

Other foods to eat to lose weight are protein. A study in the UK with the Atkins diet showed that is was not the low carb diet or the ketosis that boosted the bodies' metabolic rate. It was protein content of each meal that helped suppressed the appetite causing them to eat fewer calories. So by adding protein to each meal you can naturally suppress your appetite making it much easier to eat fewer calories.

In conclusion the best foods to eat to lose weight are water, cut back on extra toppings that are just for taste, have a smaller variety of food and to eat protein regularly to help suppress you appetite. In general the easiest way is to make or find a program that you can stick with. Everyone is different so there is no cure all to find the perfect answer. We all have to look for it try what we think will work for our self. So find a system that works for you and stick with it and be committed to doing your best and don't hold anything back.
Foods To Eat Lose Weight
Anyone can easily eat calories, lose weight and achieve results with the fat reducing foods listed below. The combination of protein, carbs and healthy fat in your diet over a short period of time will guarantee positive results. Combining a fitness routine will double your efforts depending on your goals and your workout intensity level. Your body changes everyday and the food you put in will determine the outcome on how your body will look. Don't be fooled by expensive drugs that will jeopardize your health and hyped up supplements that claim unbelievable results. The following whole foods are guaranteed to help you burn fat, stay energized and help your body rebuild itself.

1. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and eggs with lean turkey or chicken makes a nice scrambled egg dish. More tasty ingredients you can add are mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, red peppers, onions, zucchini and asparagus.

2. Whole eggs are one of the most natural sources of protein packed full of nutrients that helps increase good cholesterol. Egg beaters are a little pricy but will do in a pinch if you just want the pure protein in egg whites. However if you do not want to waste the egg yoke then this product is perfect for you.

3. A mid morning meal is easy to do by mixing ricotta or cottage cheese and yogurt together with berries and chopped nuts. The morning is the time to have a carb, protein and good fat enriched meal to get you energized for the rest of your day.

4. Various nuts like pecans, chopped walnuts, macadamia nuts and almonds are good fats that provide essential fatty acids that help keep your immune system, metabolism and heart healthy. Healthy fats also cushion and protect internal organs.

5. The grocery stores now have natural peanut butter that contains just peanuts and oil. This is healthy because of the natural state and you have to stir it up since the oil sits on top. If you need a change try mixing almond butter and sesame butter or cashew butter with macadamia butter.

6. Margarine has been found to be very bad for the heart and should be avoided. Butter on the other hand tastes great and is considered a healthy fat that can be used sparingly since it's heavy on the calories.

7. Another healthy fat are avocados that are fiber rich and can be used in sandwiches, salads and wraps. Avocados are delicious in a leafy lettuce salad mixed with dried cranberries, mandarin orange sections and almonds.

8. Try this salad dressing you can make at home which includes balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and Udo's Choice Oil Blend. A perfect mix compared to some salad dressings that use highly refined soya bean oil.

9. Fresh Fish in your meals two times a week is recommended by the American Heart Association. The omega 3 fatty acids improve brain function and helps with normal growth and development.

10. Whole grain bread and wraps are recommended for carb and fiber intake but make sure they have 3 to 4 grams of fiber for every 20 grams of carbs. Rice bran and wheat germ add a healthy crunchy taste to yogurt, smoothies and even muffins or breads to increase nutrients and fiber.

Protein increases metabolism because of the thermogenic reaction it causes in the human body so it makes sense to eat more protein along with carbohydrates for needed energy and healthy fats for normal growth and development. All these foods consumed 5 to 6 times a day, combined with cardio and resistance training will guarantee you results without drugs or supplements draining your wallet and harming your health. Now you can eat calories and lose weight without ever having to go hungry again.
