Each lender will require a different down payment and of course the down payment amount will depend on the price of the house. In the past most lenders really wanted a down payment of at least 20% but in the current market most lenders have been settling for a down payment of about 3% because most people couldn't come up with a down payment of 20%. If you really can't afford any kind of down payment it doesn't mean that you can't buy any Dallas real estate but you might be limited to a few lenders who will offer no down payment home loans.

If you are going to try and get a no money down home loan then it's very important that you have good credit so you should definitely make cleaning up credit report a high priority.
