As the seasons begin to change and the weather to warm up, it is time to head outdoors. With the cold months behind us, the windows in our homes can be opened once again and we can play once again in our backyards. The hammock was first used between 450-404 B.C. by one of Socrates students. Sometime in the 1700s, it is reported that Christopher Columbus brought the hammock back to Europe from the islands he had explored.
