Erectile dysfunction used to be problem that was hushed up and never talked about. It may have something to do with the seeming ?degradation? felt by men when they cannot rise to the occasion. Times may have changed but there still exist some minor issues regarding the reception of people towards erectile dysfunction. If you are suffering from erectile dysfunction, you can try taking medications that are designed to improve your ability to get it up. Online pharmacies offer you the option of buying your medication privately and having it delivered in a discreet package at your doorstep.

Viagra is one of the leading erectile dysfunction drugs available online. However, the sheer number of online pharmacies selling Viagra and other Viagra-like drugs does not mean that all of them are safe and legal. To be safe, you have to get a Viagra prescription for an online pharmacy prior to purchasing. Here's how:

1.See your doctor or a sexual health specialist.

It is important to see a doctor ? whether a general practitioner or a specialist in sexual health ? to correctly diagnose your condition as erectile dysfunction. Not being able to get it up one time does not automatically mean that you need Viagra. If the findings indicate that you do have erectile dysfunction, you can ask your doctor for a Viagra prescription. Express your desire to buy your medication at an online pharmacy.

2.Ask your doctor if he or she can forward your prescription to an online pharmacy.

If you have used an online pharmacy before, you can ask your doctor to forward you prescription. The same is true if your doctor is affiliated to a particular online pharmacy. Your doctor can forward your prescription to the Internet drugstore by phoning, faxing, or mailing it in. This step saves you from looking and checking with the online pharmacy yourself.

3.Look for an online pharmacy and check if it is safe and secure.

If you have not used an online pharmacy before and your doctor is not affiliated with one, you can look for search online. When checking out an online pharmacy, keep in mind these three things: legality, price, and security. An online pharmacy is legal if it requires a prescription, is licensed by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), and sells only FDA-approved medications. Prices should be competitive with existing market prices; a price that seems too good to be true is probably fake. An Internet drugstore is secure if it posts verifiable addresses and contact information and has comprehensive privacy policies. It is also good to check on how packages will be delivered including the length of delivery period and the packaging materials used.

4.Follow instructions on placing your order.

Most Internet pharmacies have instructions on their order pages that guide consumers in placing their orders. Follow these instructions carefully to avoid mistakes in your order in terms of dosage and quantity. Take note of instructions on how to send in your prescriptions. Legal online pharmacies will not process your order until they receive a copy of your prescription.
