The Las Vegas Natural History Museum features exhibits on the natural sciences, regional and world wild-life, different cultures, and regional ecosystems. Visitors are welcomed between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, seven days a week. Tickets are $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors and $4.00 for children. Schools can take students to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for an enthralling educational experience. Teachers can choose from four different programs, depending on the age of their students. Classes between kindergarten and 8th grade can enjoy the museum's Learning Safari ? a trek through the world's oceans, an exploration of the prehistoric eras and a tour of the Mohave. Younger classes can partake in the Early Explorers program to develop an understanding of the museum's many dimensions. All families interested in the museum can participate in Weekend Science.

Every Saturday this program gets families involved in museum exploration and investigation.
