Article Marketing and Twitter is a powerful combination. Before I show you four powerful ways to repurpose your articles on Twitter, let me take a moment and tell you one thing "article tweeting" is not. It's not sending your article out in 10-15 separate 140 character tweets on Twitter. That's not article tweeting....that's annoying.

With that out of the way, I'm going to teach you four different strategies to article tweet.

Strategy 1 - Automation

You need two things to be able to do this. You need an account at EzineArticles and you need an account at Twitter Both of these things you accomplish before your head hits the pillow tonight.

Log into your EzineArticles account and you are in your Author's Area.

Once you've done that and hit save, every time you get a new article published, EzineArticles automatically sends a message to Twitter, and Twitter puts out a micro blog post announcing to your entire Twitter list and to the list of everybody following you on Twitter.

Strategy 2 - Self Announcing Your Articles

Once your article is up on Ezine Articles and announced on Twitter, you can follow that up with your own tweets directing people to read your article.

Strategy 3 - Helping Others

Pay attention to people asking questions and answer those questions and direct them to one of your articles. You're responding to people and you're helping them. That's building community around you and building your expert-ability. It identifies you as the expert and people like it that you're just being helpful.

Strategy 4 - RT Campaigns

RT on Twitter stands for re-tweet. Some one sees the announcement of your article re-sends that announcement.

I make a habit out of retweeting the posts of my students and of my followers, especially when they've got a new article out. This lets other people on my list know that there's a new article by this person.

Now follow me on this. Let's say that you do an article tweet and it goes to the Twitter page of all of your followers on Twitter.

It also is seen by however many thousands of people that are following your followers. Then it's also seen by those people, and if they re-tweet it then it's seen by the people following those folks.
