One can now delight the taste buds and warm the heart with candy. Some clever individuals use candy as a method to tell one's life history. Candy bars or other treats, such as gum or peanuts, are glued onto large poster boards to replace words and tell the story. The story can then be read aloud to entertain the crowd of the party, making the event that much more memorable. Typically, these candy stories are used to celebrate milestones such as a 40th birthday, an anniversary, or a retirement. Imagination is the only limit, when creating these sweet stories!



Here is an example of an anniversary tale narrated with the candy story board. A corresponding delicious treat replaces the written words that are capitalized. To utilize as many pieces of candy as possible, great creative license was taken in the aspects of grammar and facts. The silver anniversary of Hank and Kathy Thomas will now be used to illustrate.

Life was GOOD & PLENTY for the Thomas family. As the years went by, the family grew with the addition of the 3 MUSKETEERS, Matthew, Mark, and Luke. The boys had STARBURSTS of energy and loved to play sports. Matthew played baseball but because he had BUTTERFINGERS and often dropped the ball, he switched to soccer where he could SKOR more goals.

UNO that parenthood is a WHOPPER of a job. But NOW AND LATER you can enjoy a quiet CAREFREE life, still SWEETTARTS, holding hands with lots of KISSES while gazing out at the MILKY WAY. Congratulations on your 25th wedding anniversary....

Every Candy storyboard will be as unique as the individual it speaks of. Finding as many different kinds of candy as possible is the secret to displaying a sweet story. Don't just look at candy shops that carry the usual kind of candy, but look for candy shops that carry candy that is unique or brings back fond memories. An excellent way to do this is by using the internet.
