Lemurian Quartz crystals are spectacularly clear quartz that comes from a particular mine in Brazil and possesses unusual properties. Horizontal striations and smooth sides in an alternating pattern, and subtle wave like etchings upon its faces and/or sides, distinguish it. Beneath these surfaces is a clarity that is unique.

There is a watery quality that all these crystals that originate from Lemuria share, bringing as they do the knowledge of the ancients. They are crystals that were tempered in the sea, particularly on the Eastern Shore (farmlands), Timberlands (wetlands) and in the land of Enchanted Harbours.

The primary traditional use of the Lemurian Quartz was as a precision healing tool for human, animal and plant healing. This kind of crystal radiates all kinds of healing and protective energy. As a precision healing tool this Lemurian Quartz crystal can be used in all kinds of energy healing work. In Lemuria, sometimes its presence in the place where healing was being administered was more than enough. At other times it would actually be used in the actual process of healing.

Lemurian Quartz is usually in the form of a wand but can come as Orbs (or Egg shaped crystals), which confine and shape energy and can be used to detect and rebalance blockages in the body. The more pointed end is a useful reflexology or acupressure tool. They make excellent ?hand comforters? to use in times of stress.

Another great crystal relating to ancient times is Cathedral Quartz. Meditating with Cathedral Quartz can access the Light Library. It aids attunement to the universal mind, and acts as a receptor and transmitter for group thought, which is raised to a higher vibration through contact with the pure energies of the crystal and provides access to the Akashic Record.

Cathedral Quartz is a cosmic computer that contains the wisdom of the ages. It is a Light Library, holding a record of all that has occurred on earth. Some Cathedral Quartz are extremely large, but even a small piece will give you the information you need. It is also a natural generator.

Cathedral quartz may appear to be composed of several convoluted or separate pieces, but these are in fact all part of the main crystal, which has multiple terminations with at least one point at the apex.

It is believed that Cathedral Quartz makes itself known every two thousand years to aid the evolution of consciousness by raising thought to a higher vibration. Cathedral Quartz can be programmed to bring about a better world.

Quartz of all forms, including Lemurian Quartz and Cathedral Quartz, is the most powerful healing and energy amplifier on the planet because of its unique helical spiral crystalline form. Found worldwide, it absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy and is excellent for unblocking it. At a spiritual level this crystal raises energy to the highest possible level, working on all levels of being.

Quartz is a master healer and can be used for any condition. It stimulates the immune system and brings the body into balance. It harmonises all the chakras and aligns the subtle bodies. Quartz-based crystals in particular have naturally occurring facets at their tips.

How a crystal grows is significant in esoteric crystal lore. Quartz crystals that are cloudy at the base and become clearer as they reach the tip represent the potential for spiritual growth. The dross has to be cleared in order for consciousness to evolve. Quartz crystals that are totally clear are symbols of alignment with cosmic harmony. Keeping one of these crystals with you aligns your energies to the spiritual realm.
