There are many ways to lose weight like workout, hypnosis, dieting, running and medication. Support from family and friends, is also an important factor in a battle against weight. We will take each of these one by one. First one is exercise. Exercise is a very important part of any weight loss program. Exercise when accompanied with proper diet can be the most effective tool in losing weight.
In hypnosis mind is given some suggestions in a trance like state. Unlike in normal state, in this state, mind react to these suggestions in a positive way and starts to act on those suggestions. This can change the bad eating habits of a person, like eating food with high fat content and not doing any physical activity, which will result in losing weight fast.
Dieting means eating food in a controlled manner. This means that in case of weight loss you have to eat food which has low fat content and high protein value. In some diet control programs, every participating individual is allowed to eat anything but only in limited amount. Low calorie food like fruits and fish are preferred over high calorie food like chocolate which can increase fat. You must understand that even if you are dieting, you should take enough calories that are needed to maintain the normal day to day functioning of the body. If your calorie intake is lower than that, your body actually do not burn extra fat at all, but saves it for later stages.
Psychological impacts
Increase in weight not only affects your physical health but also can sometime result in psychological problems as well. Many times it can be seen that overweight person is unable to attract opposite sex. Overweight people tend to avoid going to social gatherings because they think that others will make fun of them. In the long term this will cause deeper psychological problems and the person might even suffer from depression, if the problem is not resolved early.
Challenges
Weight loss is tough act to follow. There will be cycles in which you will loss weight and then gain weight. It is up to you to bounce back, once you start gaining weight. Key in the battle against weight is to stay motivated. It depends on your will power and your hunger to loss weight. You should recognize the fact that weight loss is a continuous process and it is a struggle against the way you are used to live till now.
No short cuts in losing weight
Be aware of the advertisements that make large claims, like those of weight loss pills. These pills never decrease any weight and even if they decrease some amount of weight, it can cause serious health problems. There are no short cuts for weight loss or permanent weight loss at least. You can loss several pounds of weight in a weak or month, but if it comes back to haunt you again, your hard work is all gone.
