The action sports industry has seen an explosive growth over the past fifteen years and it will most likely continue to have this momentum as time moves forward. Many people are under the impression that this approach can only be done for large international brands. If you own a local skate shop or bike shop you should be targeting various different keywords and phrases your local search engine marketing approach. More and more people search online for everything even when it comes to local products and services. The action sports industry is not immune to this. Don't assume someone knows that your store exists because you might only have a few others close by. You might get a child's parent looking to buy a skateboard or a BMX bike for their birthday and they don't know where the closest one is. You could also have someone visiting in town that would like to go to the closest surf shop to check it out and they hop online to find it. A solid diversified online marketing approach is very important to the survival of any brand or store. Being visible in as many locations online as possible will be a vital ingredient to the success of your business.
