And there are several different models, so you can choose the one that works best for you. The first type is designed primarily for the sewer whose fingers have become so sensitive that pushing the needle through cloth is just too painful. These thimbles are soft and flexible, but have a firm tip that is broad angled tip to help you control the needle.
