I started my online business very much the same like any others. I wasn't seeing any result for the first 2 months and was at the verge of giving up. However, I kept my head up and move on. I began to go for Internet marketing seminars to look for my answer. During one major internet marketing event, I met a renown Internet marketer who later I went under his coaching and mentorship.

Naturally my first question I asked him was, "Why am I not seeing results after working for 2 months?"

That day, was the day that I finally found my answer to why I wasn't able to see results.

I have learned that if you want to succeed online you must have these three very important element.

1. Focus

One common reason I noticed was that most Internet marketers are doing too many things at one time. You need to focus on the things that you are doing one at a time! What do I mean by that? They are either working on too many programs or products which will eventually take up a lot of their time and effort. They do not have the capability to concentrate on all businesses simply because they are can't do everything at one time. Very often after a few days, when they see no results in one of their programs or product, they jump to another and they will continue to do so. So you think they can succeed? No! This is one reason which I noticed that why most Internet marketer was unable to succeed online.

Carefully select on the programs or products that has an earning potential and put your heart and soul on it. Focus on just one business until you see significant results!

2. Consistency

When you have selected the program or products, you need to work on it consistently. Do the things that are going improve your business! For example, if you are doing affiliate marketing, you will need to drive traffic to your affiliate website. So what you got to do is to focus on the traffic generation techniques and do it consistently!

You noticed that I used the word "focus" in my example. It's the same as what I mentioned earlier. You need to focus on traffic generation and do it consistently in order to see results!

3. Patience

Lastly, you must be patient. Among these 3 attributes, patience is the most important key to succeeding. Why? Many times, entrepreneurs failed because they lack patience. They stop doing the things that they are doing just because they don't see result at the first stage. Results don't come instantly, but it will come eventually! Success is a painful journey and some take as long as 10 years to succeed, some as fast as 1 year. But why people seem to succeed on everything they do? That's because they understand these 3 important elements, they focus, do it consistently and have patience to see results.

Here's my message to you, focus on the business that you are in, work on it consistently and be patient to see good results.
