No one ever perfected his or her first kiss the first time. Don't be disheartened if the first attempt was a disaster and anyone can keep this from happening if the right time, position, and place are secured. 10. Get some privacy. Being alone will give a moment that only the couple could remember. It must be a special time with no other people as this destroys the special element of the first kiss. In a party the best way to get by is to ask the other person if he/she would like some fresh air. A short walk can do the trick or just hang out where there are no other people to pry.

9. A breath of fresh air is a must. No one wants to kiss someone who smells like onion, right? If planning to go out on a date, expect to have that first smooch if it clicks. So bring on a breath spray or ready some minty gum. Make sure to avoid spicy meals, curry or anything that is high up with garlic. Go for food with lemon flavoring or sweets as these linger less in the mouth. Make that kiss as exciting and worth remembering but not the smell.

8. Choose the best time. Be specific with the time in mind. A perfect timing can give the first kiss the perfect moment. It could start with a casual conversation, eye contact and hola!! the right time to kiss. Take the opportunity, as it might not pass again. Try not to kiss if one is still trying to say something or looking for something in the purse or pocket. Neither would want to be caught exposed or unprepared for it will be a tongue-tied moment for both. Who would like to remember the bad timing instead of the kiss anyway.

7. Never ever ask for permission. Girls like it when a guy initiates the kiss, that is most specifically in romantic moments. Although, they don't want to be caught unaware, girls do love to be kissed spontaneously. Look for signs: leaning, smiling, lip biting, hair toss, etc.

6. Keep it cool. Never grab the other like a glutton. The whole first time kiss scene should be like a slow moving flick. Relax, enjoy, and savor the kiss while it is on going.

5. Don't kiss like a mannequin. Arms and hands should go hand in hand with the kiss. Nothing is sweeter than holding her shoulders, hips, or waist when kissing. Girls can use her fingers to passionately comb the guy's hair while the other hand is touching the neck. Oh, can't wait to feel goose bumps.

4. They say that one should never trust a person who kisses with his or her eyes open. Anyway, it isn't romantic after all. Kiss with the eyes closed, feel the moment and try to get away from all distractions.

3. This one is for first time kissing guys. Imagine that the girl is just asleep. Anyone coming near a sleeping person wouldn't want to surprise and shock her, isn't it? Be subtle, don't kiss hard, feel the softness of each other's lips. Be gentle when touching.

2. Oh boy the tongue! Watch out as neither one would like to cause asphyxia. Start with just touching the lips, instinct will lead the way. Don't try to force the tongue into her as it is not romantic and not a pretty sight either and…

1. Last but most importantly, keep saliva in control. Aside from choking, some are so turned off by slobbers. No one wants to end up having his or her date feeling exhausted and disgusted.
