It's about search engine optimization, creating great content, finding links, doing things such as pay-per-click banner ads, creating e-mail newsletters or a tip of the week. There are many different online and offline marketing tools that you can use. Not one of these alone is enough to bring you all the traffic and leads that you need. You need to do a little bit of each. But the great thing about it is that they build on each other, so you start doing very small things and it all builds and ends up with a snowball effect.
Number three is that online marketing is not all about you, it's about what value and advice you can give to other people. Just like in the law of attraction, with the mindset of abundance, when you give, you send a message to the universe that you do believe in the abundance mindset, that you are willing to give, that there is more than enough, and the universe will bring you the same.
Number four is to do proper research before you launch your easy online marketing website. You need to use things such as the keyword research tool from word tracker or goodkeywords.com, because you don't want to start a website for something that people are not looking for. So, by researching your keywords and seeing what people are looking for, you can create products and services out of your specialized knowledge, that are wanted by the marketplace. Other things to do for research, you can go to BarnesandNoble.com and see what kind of books are selling about your topic. What are people looking for? You can also go to Clickbank and see what ebooks and products have been selling about your topic.
Number five is very important, and it's to create a perfect customer profile. You definitely want to target and narrow your market. And since you're going to be doing easy online marketing, you can target your market anywhere in the world. What you want to do is target what kind of person they are, what is important to them? How can your products, services or specialized knowledge help them? Something very important is to write down a description of an actual person that would be your ideal customer. So, write out their name, give them a name, give them an age, give them how much income they make per year, do they own a home, do they have children, do they have pets, what are their hobbies? What do they want, what do they need that you can provide for them? It's really important to be focused when you're thinking about your ideal customer profile, because you don't want to throw a gigantic net out there and target just anyone because then you'll get no one!
