Research Competition

The next thing you need to do is look into the market for that niche. Is there a lot of competition? In that competition, how is the person marketing their niche? Can you think of ways that you can sell your products differently and maybe more effectively? These are all questions you should consider when looking into affiliate marketing.

Setting up your Website

After you have chosen your niche, you have to create a website to sell your products. Either you can design the site yourself or you can pay a website designer. Your website is the first impression your customers will receive and can either invite your customers to learn more about your products or keep them moving to other sites.

Setting up your Affiliate Links

After you have your website completed, go to the product that you would like to promote. Usually sites have an affiliate link you can click on to create an account or join an ecommerce site.

Placing your Affiliate Links on your Website

After you have registered with the niche you have selected, you will receive a special link that people will click on to go to the company's website to purchase the product. This special link is what is going to give you credit and money. Take this link and incorporate it into your site through articles you have or if you received an image you can place that HTML or other code on your website.

Now Start Marketing!

You are all set, now all you have to do is tell people about the product you are promoting. Get out there and start bringing traffic to your website. There are many ways to do this including writing articles to article directories, joining forums and placing a signature line in your posts, and visiting blogs that people who would be interested in your product visit.
